Best earbuds 2020

Whether it’s convenience, portability, or just pure enjoyment, mobile gaming is becoming more and more popular with each year and it’s no surprise that even AAA developers are releasing console worthy games, like Call of Duty: Mobile, for your everyday smartphone.

As the phones got smarter, games got bigger and better, and the online competitive scene became more prevalent then it’s ever been. Players around the world are looking for any advantage they can get as they prove how superior they are on the battlefield and no component plays a more important part than audio.

The in-game information you gain from using a good set of earbuds or headphones is priceless and can often be the difference between a win and a loss. On top of that, it’s important to have good communication with your teammates, so you’ll need a clear microphone as well to complete the package.

Now a good set of mobile gaming headphones is a key feature in any professional players setup so today, we’re going to take a look at some of the best that you can find when you’re just starting and how you can take your mobile gaming experience to the next level.

KLIM Fusion Earbuds

When it comes to gaming headphones and earbuds, comfort is one of the most important aspects of a headset. If you’re a hardcore gamer like me, you’re going to be spending hours wearing your earbuds and this is where the KLIM Fusion earbuds shine through.

The buds themselves are made of memory foam and, just like in a shoe or on a mattress, it will mold itself to the shape of your ear while in use. And if that wasn’t enough, there are a plethora of different sizes to make sure they work for everyone.

Top it all off with a built-in microphone and an extremely affordable price and you’ve got a perfect set of gaming earbuds for those just getting started.

Skullcandy Ink’d 2.0

As popular brands go, there is none more recognizable than Skullcandy, and its for a very good reason. They have built a solid reputation by providing some of the most durable headsets on the block and its why I’ve used them myself for years. It’s no surprise that I turned to them when I needed a pair of gaming earbuds as well.

The Ink’d earbuds deliver exactly what Skullcandy is known for. Bringing a high-quality listening experience to everybody at an affordable price and these are a shining example of this trend. Not only are they great to use in-game but I found myself carrying them wherever I went to use in my everyday life.

I highly recommend you pick up a pair if you’re looking for your very first pair of gaming earbuds.

Turtle Beach Battle Buds

One of the most Legendary creators of gaming headsets, Turtle Beach has finally brought out a more portable version of their amazing headphones to cater to a more mobile crowd. They are titans within the industry with some of their products being used exclusively by biggest streamers on Twitch.

While most mobile headsets are content to let the microphone rest within the cable, Turtle Beach took the mobile gaming experience to the next level by adding a microphone that extends to your mouth instead of being built into the cable, just like the headsets worn by the pros.

I’ve got a pair of these lined up for the next season of Call of Duty: Mobile and I can’t wait to use it in Battle Royale mode especially.

HyperX Cloud Earbuds

We’ve mentioned time and time again how important it is to hear the in-game audio and the Cloud earbuds from HyperX are designed to fulfill this role with, delivering the crisp, clear sound needed when you’re playing games like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty: Mobile.

The overall red-and-black design is sleek and looks great even when paired with a Nintendo Switch. They may not provide a great experience for music listeners but for gamers, they are a must-have and a great choice if you’re looking to start things off at a more premium level.

Razer Hammerhead True Wireless

Name: Hammerhead True

Brand: Razer

Price: $99.99

Cable Length: 4 ft

Best Place To Buy: Amazon

As one of the best selling gaming peripheral brands, it was only a matter of time before Razer got involved with the mobile gaming scene as well but, instead of a mouse or keyboard, they have delivered a premium set of wireless mobile gaming earbuds that simply can’t be ignored.

Trust me when I say, they sound better than they look and they look pretty cool, to begin with. I was impressed by how well I could hear gunshots in Call of Duty: Mobile’s Battle Royale mode and how much depth it added to the experience. I highly recommend it as a future upgrade once you become more accustomed to using earbuds when you play.

Take it to The Next level

As the mobile gaming scene continues to grow, the skill gap grows higher and higher, so it’s important to take any competitive advantage you can get, and having a good pair of mobile gaming earbuds in your set up can vastly improve your game.

I used earbuds in every single game as I climbed up to Legendary Rank in Call of Duty: Mobile and I was astounded at how much information I gained in the match and how easy it was to predict my enemies move when I could already hear their movements

I’m usually more of a headphones type of guy, but I have considered getting some earbuds for convenience sake. Out of the ones listed here, I’d probably go with the Skullcandy Ink’d 2.0. I actually already own a pair of Skullcandy headphones anyway, so I trust the brand. Also, it seems to be one of the more cheaper earbuds, and the way you describe them being used for everyday life makes them sound all the more appealing.

Skullcandy is definitely the way to go. I’ve also been using a pair for quite some time and I recommend it to anyone.

      Thanks for stopping by, Gladeno
