My Call of Duty: Mobile Wishlist – Top 5 Things I Wish Were In The Game

CodMobile Wishlist

It seems like just the other day I was beginning my climb up to Legendary Rank in Series 5 but since then almost 2 months have passed and we’re well on our way to a brand new Ranked Series that promises to be the best one yet. There is a plethora of new content coming to Battle Royale alone and I can’t wait to experience it all.

I’ve sunk hours into Call of Duty: Mobile and I continue to be blown away by the improvements and updates that keep rolling in every week but still, there are a few things that aren’t in the game that I want to see implemented in the near future.

These don’t necessarily balance changes or nerfs and they may not be changes that everybody agrees with but, as a fan and a long time player, these are just a few of the things I would personally like to see in Call of Duty: Mobile that might make things a little more interesting.

So, here’s my wishlist for Call of Duty: Mobile.

#1 – New Rank Tiers

One of my fondest memories playing Call of Duty: Mobile so far has been my very first climb up to Legendary Rank in Battle Royale. Don’t get me wrong, I’m proud of myself for achieving this Tier each season but I managed to do it in less than 2 weeks in Series 5 and after that, the grind just starts to feel stale.

Not to mention the fact that the skill gap within Legendary Rank is way too high. It doesn’t feel like much of a challenge and the rank itself starts to lose value when you encounter low skilled players happily flaunting their Legendary badge. 6 Tiers aren’t enough anymore and I’d like to see more levels in the future.

In a perfect world, I’d propose a new Tier between Pro and Master and another one above Legendary. It should provide a better challenge to those that climb the ladder and keep the players at the top competing at a higher level.

I can’t speak for Multiplayer but for Battle Royale, I think this could work.

#2 – Guns in Battle Royale

You would not believe how excited I felt when I found out that they would be adding more guns to the ground loot within Battle Royale. Compared to Multiplayer, our selection of guns has been minimal, to say the least, and that completely excludes Battle Royale players from experiencing the current meta.

This also gives me no motivation to grind for any of the seasonal rewards or take a chance on crates if it’s for a gun that isn’t in BR. Got a Legendary ICR-1 skin in the Lucky Draw? Well, why would I bother when that gun is just going o sit in my inventory as an ornament.

I know it’s also my fault for not playing all the modes that Call of Duty: Mobile has to offer and they are slowly but surely adding more guns as the seasons go by, like the new guns coming in season 9 but I’m just saying, It would be the coolest thing ever if we had access to the entire arsenal in BR.

#3 – Bring Back Zombies Mode!

I’ve said it once before and I’m going to say it again, we need Zombies mode to come back! Before I discovered my love for Battle Royale, this was the mode that made me want to play Call of Duty: Mobile because it was the closest thing we had to the original Zombies mode from the first Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Every new season brings a new game mode along with it and, in season 7, we were lucky enough to get Attack of the Undead to help satisfy the zombie appetite but now that’s gone too. I know they had their reasons for pulling it from the game but it’s the mode that I miss the most.

Seeing the Zombies loadout menu in the game always gave me hope that it could return at any moment but, after seeing all the upcoming changes on the public test server, it’s clear that the menu is finally being removed altogether. Turns out that Zombies might never be coming back after all.

#4 – Cross-Play

One of the things that have always amazed me about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone was the cross-play mechanic they had within the multiplayer system. It made it possible for anybody to play the game together no matter if you’re using a PC, PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One.

Controller players are placed in the same lobby as those using a keyboard and mouse so why not let controller players and touch screen players play together in the same lobby on Call of Duty: Mobile? It will decrease the number of bots that we see in the game and allow friends to play together without hassle.

As someone that recently switched to using a DualShock 4 controller, I honestly don’t see a difference in the difficulty level and wouldn’t mind being in the same lobby as players on a touch screen. To me, using a controller is all about personal preference and doesn’t give a significant advantage or disadvantage overall.

Season 9 Will Be Lit

All that aside, Call of Duty: Mobile is better than it’s ever been and, with all the new changes that are coming in Season 9, I struggle to imagine how they are going to top all that they’ve been doing but it makes me excited to see how the rest of 2020 will play out for Call of Duty: Mobile enthusiasts.

If you haven’t already, try to unlock as many of the rare and epic weapons as you can before season 9 so that you have all those unique camos ready for your guns in the Gunsmith Armory. Customization is going to be King and you don’t want to miss out.

Do you play Call of Duty: Mobile? What are some of the things you would like to see implemented in the near future? Let me know in the comments section below.
